Jon is hands down the most friendly, caring, and educated Personal Trainers out there. He is more than a Personal Trainer. He also specializes in Fascial Stretch Therapy and incorporates this into his sessions, if this is something that interests you. I’ve been on his program for about three months and have seen phenomenal results. I’m not going to lie but it does take commitment, consistency, and hard work. He’s created a personalized fitness plan for me that includes nutrition, which is where I’m learning about macros. I also add on weekly fascial stretch therapy sessions that has not only improved my flexibility but it has helped me with my strength training. I see and feel the difference in my body and can attest that this is an investment worth paying for.

What a guy. For the past 2 years, I’ve been working toward the start of my Military career. Let me tell ya, I didn’t think that I’d feel so physically ready for military training. Within the first couple of sessions with Jon, I realized very quickly how knowledgeable and passionate he was about fitness. He demonstrated every exercise thoroughly and watched to make sure I was doing it correctly. He also always asked where I felt the burn to make sure I was activating the correct muscle(s). Jon is very creative and inventive, switching between exercises that work the same muscle, but are ultimately safer for his clients. He’s even gone as far as building his own belt-squat rack, to make squatting a safer exercise. Something I hadn’t heard about before I started training, was FST or Fascial Stretch Therapy. I usually got it after my workouts. Trust me when I say that I was never sore after getting FST, no matter how hard I worked out the previous day. It was a game changer. Jon is an incredibly hard worker, sometimes only giving himself a 30 minute break throughout the day. It was incredible to be there in the beginning and see his gym expand to what it is now, just 2 years later. You can’t go wrong with Strength In Motion.

As an avid golfer playing professionally, I’ve already noticed rotational improvement far beyond what I thought after only one session. I’ve gained 10 yards and can’t wait to keep a monitor after 10 or even 6 months of fst sessions with Jonathan. Imagine doing 2 hours of stretching without having to do the work. I have had back problems for years, and he not only helped me to get out of pain, but he also has helped me to get into a consistent workout routine, that does not leave me debilitated for weeks. Got to send a huge thank you to Jon Owner of @jon_strength_in_motion ! For helping to put me back on track to loosing weight. See, 4 years ago I seriously hurt my back at a show and left it untreated. The choice was either surgery or constant pain meds. The shows and concerts we produce would physically wipe me out and the simplest workouts would be excruciating and over the years, I gained more weight then desired. My friend suggested I see Jon who specializes in stretch therapy and exercise techniques. Im just over two months in to our sessions averging twice a week. I can feel the range of motion coming back, back no longer aches, and I notice quicker recovery after long days on my feet! Now I can focus on loosing the weight!

Somehow the universe aligned and on my way to do my taxes I found this guy @jon_strength_in_motion .I call him my physical therapist bc he is literally better than any physical therapist I’ve seen. If you’ve followed me for a while you know that I’ve been suffering with back pain from my herniated discs for the past 5 years. And although I’ve been told I need steroid injections or back surgery if that didn’t work I refused to go that route. InsteadI mostly coped with the pain and exacerbations with acupuncture. I was always too scared to workout bc in the past I’ve thrown my back out while doing a workout. Which led to more deconditioning and muscle imbalances. I found Jon in March of this year and I haven’t looked back! This guy has changed my whole perspective on how to fix my back. He specializes in helping those who have back injuries regain their life back. I’ve come in achy and left feeling better and stronger. I’ve never been afraid that I’d injure myself during training with him. He also does FST! And this guy has built his entire gym on his own! All his machines are geared to help those recovering with back pain. Anyways… if you are in pain or know someone with back pain hit up this man! You will not regret it. I have not felt this good or strong in a really long time and I finally feel like I’m getting my old life back. Thank you @jon_strength_in_motion !!!! P.s. After years of lower back/hip pain, Jonathan’s informative training has taught me how to overcome it; and incredibly, since training with him, I’ve had zero pain. He even managed to combine this sort of conditioning with tennis-specific training methods and had me moving in ways I didn’t know were still possible at my age.
